When and where is Field Day?

Field Day will be on Saturday, 4/12/2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. It will be held at the Murphy Recreation Center on the campus of Benedictine College, located at 1020 N. 2nd St., Atchison, KS.

When is the registration deadline?

Accepted Answer

Preferred registration deadline is  Wednesday, April 2. However, anyone can register at the door. Keep in mind, though, that all participants must present a signed liability waiver and media release form. This must be signed by a parent or guardian if the participant is a minor or cannot sign legal documents.

I heard this event is free - is that true?

Yes! This Field Day is completely free!

Is Field Day only for individuals with special needs?

Accepted Answer

No. This is a community event that is designed to be fun for anyone of any age (3+) and any ability level. It is fun for the whole family!

Is see that the event is at Benedictine - is this a religious event?

Accepted Answer

No - while Benedictine College is grateful to co-sponsor Field Day and sees this outreach as a kind of ministry, the activites and interactions of the day will focus on community building, physical activity, improving motor and coordination skills, and just plain fun! People of any or no faith are welcome to attend.
